I gotz a bunch of new nail polish colors by L.A. Colors last week! And here they are!

Just a pic of my L.A. Colors collection :)

I love L.A. Colors's "Color Crazy" nail polishes! There are sooo many pretty colors to choose from, you'd want to change up your nail color daily :P Here's what I got:

L.A. colors are so cool, they sent me these lovely polishes: [left to right] Black, Silver Glitter, &  Fuel
Atomic && Shock

Fuji Purple (my favorite) && Electric Shock

Fuel && Fuji Purple

Fuel and Electric Charge are kinda similar in color, Fuel just has some shimmer to it and Electric Charge is more of a creme polish (along with fuji purple, atomic, and shock). Overall I really liked these polishes. I would totally purchase more colors :)))))

TouchBack by Colormark

 Monday, July 18, 2011

As most of you know, there are some young adults (in their 20's and 30's) that already have gray hair growing. So in saying that, this product I’m about to review is not just for the middle aged/older adults, but for the young too. TouchBack by Colormark is a super duper handy temporary hair color marker that eliminates the appearance of gray roots. It’s a great product for touch ups if you don’t have time to get your hair colored right away.  Keep it in your purse, or in the bathroom when you’re getting ready for work, school, parties, etc. It’s super easy to use and it stays on until shampooed out.

To apply:
  • Make sure your hair is completely clean and dry.
  • Use the special comb that is included, and slide the comb over the hair (as close to the scalp as possible) and then start applying the product in long strokes. Usually around the temples is where you would find most of your gray hair. So in that area, if you have resistant gray hair, try holding the marker in place for a few seconds to let it absorb the color.
  • Wait a minute or two for it to dry, and then comb out.

TouchBack is the easiest touch-up pen ever. It won’t flake off and its patented formula uses certified hair colors, but without the harsh chemicals (no ammonia or peroxide). That makes this product gentle to use on your hair!

Visit the TouchBack website for more information :]

Violent lips

 Friday, July 15, 2011

Violent lips, what can I say? Uhh, they are so cool?! I’ve never tried lip tattoos, so when I tried these bad boys out I was definitely amazed. They have sooo many prints to choose from; cheetah/leopard prints, polka dots, and even fishnet designs! I loved fake tattoos when I was a child, these work the same way. Each pack contains 3 applications, and a step-by-step directions card to help you if you’re a first timer like I was. It doesn’t even take that long to get the hang of it. They stay on for about 4-8 hours, depending on your skin type and care. And if anyone is wondering, I heard they still stay put even if you’re kissing/making out with someone. I can’t wait to use the leopard print for Halloween this year!

To apply:
  • Make sure your lips are dry and free of any oils or products and punch out the pre-cut patterns.

  • Then open your mouth like you’re at the doctors and the doctor is telling you to say “Ahhh”. That is the “Ahhh shape”.
  • Next measure your lip length (the vertical lines) and cut at the end corners of your mouth.
  • Make the Ahhh shape again, and measure the depth of your lip (horizontal lines). This is where you will cut along the starting point of your water line. The tattoo will adhere better on a dry surface, so avoid applying the tattoo past your water line because it will start to tear.

Here is a picture of the horizontal/vertical lines
  • Next, with your cutout positioned in the perfect spot (design facing the lips), wet a paper towel, or a washcloth, and dab it onto the backside. Don’t be afraid to use a lot of water.
  • Wait about 40 seconds, and then gently peel off.
  • Dab lightly to smoothen out any rough patches.
  • Optional: You can add a lip balm on top once it dries. Lip gloss I wouldn't recommend, because it might strip away the tattoo. And you can fill in any spots left out with a same color lip liner.

Finished results J
THE RED LOVE <3
I love the movie "Kickass" hahahah :)

Here are other patterns:

THE CORAL CHEETAH:

THE LEOPARD:

THE ORAGAMI:

There is a tutorial on the Violent Lips website if you want to check out the application in action http://www.violentlips.com/
(There are a bunch of patterns to choose from! So check them out!!)

To remove: just dab on some mineral oil or baby oil and wait for about 2-3 minutes, then wipe with a textured cloth. Avoid eating greasy/oily foods. And for the next time you apply another set, save the already measured cutouts and use them as a guide to save time!

This product is FDA approved and is not tested on cute little animals :)

Streekers: the coolest temporary hair color ever!

 Tuesday, July 12, 2011

Hey guys! Check out this product I received called Streekers, the temporary hair color :)

Pink and Blue

Streekers is my first temporary hair color product, so I was super excited to be trying it out. Application is fairly easy. All you have to do is take the sponge-tip applicator, lift the strip of hair you want colored, and apply from root to tip. Let it dry completely, and I mean completely, and comb through. If you get some on your skin, don’t worry it’ll wash off with soap and water. It may stain your skin for a little while, but it goes away. Works better on lighter hair colors, and can be used over any kind of hair product (hair spray, mousse, styling gel, etc.). Streekers keeps hair soft, and it’s neat because it completely washes out in the shower. You can start over and change looks! If you’re someone like me who doesn’t want to commit to a long lasting hair color, try out this product.

Streekers come in 8 vibrant colors: pink, blue, ultra violet, red, green, yellow, orange, and purple. I have the blue and pink, and I absolutely adore the pink. I have fairly dark hair, but the way it turns out on me is pretty awesome. The blue doesn’t show up too much, but it’s still a little noticeable. Since this product works better on blonde or lighter hair colors, I can’t really show you with my hair. But! I borrowed one of my sister’s Barbies, and gave her a little makeover lol. The colors definitely showed up brighter on her.

Best picture I could take that showed the colors. I hate how dry my hair looks :(

Overall, I really like this product. It gave me that extra pop of color, and I also thought the applicator was pretty neat. It made application really easy and it picked up the right amount of product. I really enjoyed the pink, I got a bunch of compliments on it!

Sorry I've been away for a while :( I've been pretty busy with school stuff and getting ready for my brother's graduation party. Wooo! Hahahah, stay tuned! I've got more good stuff to come :)
